Ollie Florine Wright, affectionately called 'Biddy Chicken', was born to the late Leon and Willie Bell Jefferson on December 1, 1926 in Monroe, Louisiana.  She was one of three children.  Ollie moved to Los Angeles with family in 1939.  In 1996, Ollie was baptized and joined the Phoenix Valley Church of Christ where her presence has been a blessing to all.

She received her high school education at Thomas Jefferson High School in Los Angeles.  Ollie was united in Holy Matrimony to Adolphe Brooks Cunningham on December 25, 1946.  This union was blessed with one son, the late Daryl Craig. 

Ollie retired from the United States Postal Service after 35 years and 6 months of honorable service.

Ollie loved classical music and cooking, and collecting cook books was her hobby.  She enjoyed travelling, but her greatest joy was to do or say something to brighten someone's day.
